Redfish
can be stalked on the flooded grass flats, where big schools of redfish
feed on fiddler crabs. During low tide phases, large schools of redfish
can also be found schooling on mud flats, creek mouths and oyster bars.

Largemouth bass can be found in the upper reaches of the rivers and often weigh over ten pounds. Look for the best fishing to come during the Spring and Fall fishing seasons, however backwater fishing remains good all year long. |
| Seatrout also offer excellent fly fishing opportunities and when found schooling, can offer explosive backwater fly fishing action. Fly fishing charters are booked according to the tides and can be arranged for a 4-8 hour charter. | ![]() |

Huge
schools of redfish, sea trout, stripers and flounder can be found in the
"sweet" waters of the rivers and in the salty bays, too. This
fishery can be enjoyed while fishing from two to three passenger backwater
boats.
