CHARTERS All backwater charters carry up to three passengers and supply
DEEP SEA tackle, ice and cooler. Freshwater fishing licenses are extra.
BACKWATER A wide variety of fly fishing opportunities are waiting for the
SAILING avid fly fisherman. Amelia Island is teeming with bays, flats, and
STORE tidal rivers, which offer excellent fly fishing for redfish, sea trout,

PHOTOS for our clients.

Redfish can be stalked on the flooded grass flats, where big schools of redfish feed on fiddler crabs. During low tide phases, large schools of redfish can also be found schooling on mud flats, creek mouths and oyster bars.

Largemouth Bass
Largemouth bass can be found in the upper reaches of the rivers and often weigh over ten pounds. Look for the best fishing to come during the Spring and Fall fishing seasons, however backwater fishing remains good all year long.
Seatrout also offer excellent fly fishing opportunities and when found schooling, can offer explosive backwater fly fishing action. Fly fishing charters are booked according to the tides and can be arranged for a 4-8 hour charter. Sea Trout
Flounder
Huge schools of redfish, sea trout, stripers and flounder can be found in the "sweet" waters of the rivers and in the salty bays, too. This fishery can be enjoyed while fishing from two to three passenger backwater boats.
